To me, the most interesting thing in life is other people. I have always been drawn to meeting people from different backgrounds and walks of life. I grew up in Australia, but have been fortunate to get the opportunity to live and work around the globe. My life journey has taken me to Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea and now New York City.
Throughout these travels, I have worked at multinational financial companies and law firms of all sizes. These experiences have formed me as a lawyer and as a person. I understand that in order to be an exceptional attorney, I must take a genuine interest and get closely involved with the client, no matter who they are.
I thrive on challenges and relish the chance to go against the status quo. I was drawn to life in the United States and New York in particular because I fell in love with the ideals that this country was founded upon. Being a pivotal part of a client’s journey to build their lives in the United States is what I find most rewarding as a lawyer. As I am making my own American dreams a reality, I consider it my calling to help others find their way to doing the same.
I currently live in Harlem and work in Brooklyn. Since I consider New York my hometown in America, I am a major supporter of all the local teams. I particularly enjoy basketball, football and baseball and follow my favorites closely as a way to relax. In my spare time, I love to explore the city and on a sunny day you can find me in a quiet park with a coffee and a good book.
